DAY -24, NISSAN ❤ NISSEN

NEW YEAR COUNTDOWN (DAY -24, NISSAN ❤ NISSEN)

  |   CultureShocks Blog

As we announced in our @CultureShocks /@CultureShocksDE/@CultureShocksFR /@CultureShocksME/@CultureShocksRU/@Textappeal twitter accounts, we are starting a new year countdown by sharing Social Media Blunders and Best Practices from around the world.

Big thank you to the Social Media professionals across cultures who have sent us stunning examples!

We will be sharing one example a day. Don’t forget to share them with your friends, in true festive spirit.

Let’s start with this example from Japan:

Nissan  Nissen

Nissan, a global automotive brand, and Nissen, a domestic catalogue shopping brand enjoyed a fair bit of flirting on twitter when a twitter user tweeted her admiration for Nissan’s cars to @nissen by mistake. @nissen took this with a sense of humour rather than simply ignoring or complaining about the tweet and started this love affair by tweeting ‘it’s awkward for me to say, but thanks for your kind words for @nissan.’ Then @nissan responded by tweeting ‘ Taking this opportunity please also extend your support to @nissen’, to which the user responded with gratitude.
